CLI research seminar on 22 May 2019
Dr Miriam Green was presenting her research on What counts as knowledge in mainstream organisation and management studies? on 22 May 2019
Dr Green鈥檚 presentation will explore how textbooks are interpreted and reinterpreted over time and within changing climates of meaning. She will use her analysis of Burns and Stalker鈥檚 The Management of Innovation to consider problems with representation, the influence of academe and politics, and the wider ramifications of these evolving interpretations. Very relevant to anyone who teaches using textbooks or researches organisations and management鈥n other words, just about everyone!
